Welcome to TjorvenWeb! - Unfortunately we have decided to make this website entirely in Swedish, because the Tjorven cars is a Swedish internal affair ;-)
The Tjorven car was produced by the Swedish company Kalmar Verkstad, in southeast Sweden, more known for its forklifts and truck vehicles. The car was only produced between 1969 and 1972, and only about 1200 were made, most of them for the Swedish Postoffices, and they where heavily used, so not many have survived until today.
I myself have managed to find one in rather good condition, this car was sold privately and have not been a postoffice car, and I am going to renovate it into 'as good as new' condition as soon as possible, and that is what this website is all about.
So please go back to the Swedish version and enjoy the images, and the beauty of an extremely rare little automobile, that technically was similar to the DAF 44, with its variomatic gearbox. If you have any questions you can mail me in english - Nemas problemas!
